RSG are currently recruiting for Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to manage a caseload of complex mental health clients within the older adult service, providing health and social care interventions. This will include commissioning care packages, safeguarding investigations and monitoring mental state for relapse and recovery. The role also requires you to be on the Central AMHP team rota providing assessment and co-ordination under the Mental Health Act.
Experience/Qualification:
- Experience as an AMHP as well as an active AMHP warrant is essential as well as experience supervising staff. A degree within Social Work
- (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role.
- A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is essential to this role
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Having the ability to work as part of a multi-agency team.
- Understanding of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity act 2005, the Mental Health Act 2007 and the Human Rights Act 1998
