Deputy Residential and Medical Manager £30,902-£32,467 per annum (plus up to £2652 for sleep ins)-Ottershaw, Surrey

RSG are looking for a Deputy Residential and Medical Manager to join an amazing school. Working with the residential manager you will have the skills, knowledge and drive to support the residential team to continually develop the residential curriculum, working collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Teachers and Learning Support Assistants to enable all our children become independent.

In the absence of the Residential Manager, the Deputy will be responsible for all aspects of the residential department creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment. You will lead the residential staff to develop and run activities that are fun, whilst supporting skill development, ensuring the quality of care is maintained across all shifts.

The successful candidate will have:

  1. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care
  2. Experience in a leadership role within residential childcare
  3. Level 2 Qualification in Medication in Schools
  4. The ability to plan, monitor, record and problem solve to give the children the best opportunity to achieve
  5. Vision to support the development of the residential department
